Kraft,<\/a>\u00a0 professor\u00a0in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eeb.ucla.edu\">Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology<\/a> at University of California, Los Angeles.\u00a0We study the ecological and evolutionary forces that structure communities, particularly plant systems. <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.lifesci.ucla.edu\/eeb-kraft\/research-themes\/\">Projects<\/a> in the lab integrate aspects of community ecology, biogeography, ecophysiology, and phylogenetics. Recent projects have centered on the forests of lowland Amazonia and annual plant communities in California.
