We use genomic tools and population genetic markers to understand adaptation, population structure and gene flow in plant populations. Much of our work is centered on the oak woodlands and savannas of California. Our research covers five main areas:
- Landscape genomics of oaks
- Valley oak history and future in face of climate change
- Seed dispersal
- Pollen movement
- Phylogeography of lace lichen (Ramalina menziesii)
