PhD students are usually accepted through the UCLA NSIDP, MCIP, or MBIDP. We are not accepting rotation students in Fall 2021 or Winter 2022 quarters. It is possible that we will accept a rotation student in Spring 2022 to work with Drs. Correa & van Veen. MS students are usually accepted through the IBP MS program. We are not accepting MS students at this time.
Undergraduate researcher positions are not currently available. This may change in the coming months, as projects get going. Interested undergraduates should email a single PDF with with the following three components to correametabolismlab at gmail. Applications or inquiries to sent to Dr. Correa directly will not be considered. Lab members looking for undergraduate mentees will check the lab gmail inbox.
- Short statement (<1 page) answering: 1. Why are you interested in research in the Correa Lab? 2. When would you be able to start working in the lab? 3. How many hours a week are you able to commit the lab? 4. Do you have any previous lab or research experience? If so please list the techniques you have done before. Section headings and bullet points can work well, particularly for questions 2-4.
