The LS Core Office coordinates each of the Life Sciences courses that introduce all Life Science majors to the core education.

We are here to help you with many aspects of negotiating your way through these courses, including:

• Helping you understand the requirements to enroll in Life Science Core Education courses. (Please note that the Department does not issue PTE numbers for courses)
• Facilitating course equivalency requests
• Explaining UCLA policy regarding add/drop deadlines and grading requirements.
• Referring students to their Departmental Academic Advisor for major advising 
• Referring students to Center for Academic Advising in the College for  College policies and general education advising.
