WILDLIFE
The Botanical Garden provides habitat for many animals. Learn more about the 330+ species of animals that have been documented here and add your own observations to our iNaturalist project: Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden Fauna. Please respect wildlife by giving them space and not touching them or their nests.

INSECTS
Of the animals observed in the Botanical Garden on iNaturalist, over half of the species observed are insects! Plants and insects have many interesting relationships from providing habitat to pollination. The following resources include a visual guide to a few insects you may observe in the Garden, as well as a page you can print out to take your very own explorer notes.
