Potential Undergraduate Researchers: We love having undergrads in the lab and take their training seriously! We are happy to host SRP99 and 199 students in the lab, provided we have a mentor available. See info on the differences between 99 and 199 here.
UCLA has several programs to fund summer research:
CARE SEM Program: UCLA students already in lab
Amgen Scholars: students from all over the world can apply!
Bruins in Genomics (BIG): students interested in visiting UCLA over the summer to learn bioinformatics!
Potential Graduate Students: we accept graduate students throught the UCLA Molecular Biology Institute (MBI) and Bioengineering (BioE). Both have fall deadlines for application so timing is key!
Potential Post-docs: We are always interested to discuss fellowship application with interested researchers!
