Austin’s abstract entitled “Mechanisms of Arterial Lining Regeneration In Vivo” was selected to give an oral presentation at the Gordon Research Conference on Endothelial Heterogeneity held in Girona, Spain in August 2016.
The article entitled “Perivascular Macrophages Limit Permeability” was just published in ATVB. This work by former graduate student Mahsa (Huanhuan) He, demonstrates that macrophages are responsible for regulating vascular permeability under physiological conditions.
Presenting her poster to one of the judges of the Cardiovascular Symposium held in September at the UCLA Luskin Center. Julia won an award for her poster entitled “Notch1 is a Flow Sensor in Adult Endothelium”.
