Field Biology Quarter 2015- Nicaragua

nica2

Welcome to the website for UCLA’s Field Biology Quarter 2015! This is a capstone course for 15 undergraduates from the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department to apply what they have learned from all of their courses and develop independent research projects. During the Winter quarter in 2015 we will be traveling to the remote field station of Refugio Bartola, along the Rio San Juan in Nicaragua. Students spend three weeks in the neotropical rainforest with two professors and  two teaching assistants, and will be conducting research on animal behavior and conservation. Check out the Student Blog section for updates from the students on their research and experiences in the field!
